Aya Miho steps up this month to take the role of character of the month. Though her time outside of the village, and even time as a character has been slim, she has been a rather key member of the Kumogakure community and has pressed hard to not only keep things lively and interesting in the social arena of the ninja world (an area notably lacking at times on HV). From her newly found role as Yoshi's assistant, to becoming a future central role within the science and medical corps of shinobi worldwide, she's more than an excellent character to keep tabs on in months to come.

Of all the players over the last few months, we would like to recognize Rin for continuing to be one of our most notable, and perhaps strongest writers on site. With the untimely demise of Aki, she's had an amazing opportunity to bring weight and value to a character that met and incredibly unfortunate end. Without a strong writer like herself, it wouldn't have been nearly as effective and striking an event, and we'd like to officially applaud her for making a character so valuable despite its relatively short reign in the Kirigakure arena. I need to personally recognize Laughter this month for keeping the house locked up nice and tight during some of my vacation. While I know many members of the staff assisted during my absence for vacations and reduced presence on site, Laughter took it on himself to comb through the drama that few other people really have to cope with, even from an administrative point of view. It takes a lot of patience that he probably doesn't have to cope with the day to day issues that arise up behind the scenes, stacked high against how much is done on the forefront of forum management.
